In England!
Right now I am sitting on the couch inside our "flat" (apartment) looking out the window at Manchester, England's skyline. It is 9:30 p.m. here in England which means it is around 2:30 p.m. in Texas. Our flight arrived in England at around 6:05 this morning. We then left from the airport in a taxi cab to go to our flat to take a nap. I did not realize how exhausted I was from the time change that happened on the flight over here until after I woke up from a three hour nap! We were wiped out. I was not quite so sleepy after I ate a delicious lunch at an English pub called The Ox. The fish and chips there were so good. After lunch we did a little site seeing around Manchester. I am so fascinated by the architecture of all the old buildings here. They are so beautiful that I can't stop taking pictures of them! If I wasn't using my aunt's laptop I would post pictures of some of the things we have experienced so far, but I suppose you will have to wait until I get home. I forgot to mention the flight from Ft. Worth to Chicago on the way up here. Tess, My mom, and I all got to ride in business class! We were treated like royalty. Our seats could be reclined and adjusted anyway you wanted. Tess and I also got to watch a movie on the flight. I must say though that the flight from Chicago to Manchester was not quite so relaxing as the flight from Ft. Worth to Chicago, but we survived. I'll keep you updated as much as possible. Until then, good night. Or should I say good afternoon! Talk to you soon.

A Trip to England
In about three weeks me, my sister, and my mother will be traveling to Manchester, England! The way this trip came about is rather quite sudden and suprising to the whole family. I will try to keep my story brief as it is a bit detailed and lengthy. Well, my uncle happens to be an architect, who designs different kinds of sports stadiums. One of the stadiums he is working on currently is a soccer stadium in England. He is also one of the many designers for the 2010 Final Four stadium in Indiana. So obviously he has been flying to and from the United States constantly through out the past year. Flying in an airplane might get old after a while, but it also has its advantages when it comes to frequent flyer miles that you get when you have to fly to and from distant places often. It just so happens that he had enough flyer miles to share with my mother, my sister, and I for two weeks! It was so overwelming when I first found out about the whole thing. I have always wanted to go to England, but I didn't expect it to creep up on me so suddenly. But I am so glad is has! What an oppurtunity to learn about a new culture and country. I have been studying up on England as much as I possibly can and I also have been working at my Dad's office two afternoons a week to earn money as well. I plan to take plenty of pictures when I am there so don't worry I will share as many as I can with you! I said I would try to keep this post brief, but as you can see I have failed you that statement. So until I write again good-bye!
